OUR PHILOSOPHY

Family-Owned, Family-Operated

We are committed to preserving our land's nutrients and creating a sustainable environment to raise our heritage-breed, northern-European cattle and sheep.

The grandchildren help with chores, and we work hard to ensure the land will be just as beautiful when they're grown.

We primarily raise Scottish Highland cattle, Scottish Blackface sheep, and Idaho Pasture Pigs. Our commitment is to preserving the beautiful breeds, raising our animals ethically and sustainably, and ensuring that we treat our natural resources with respect.

In addition, the farm boasts a full apple orchard with old-variety apples, and have seasonal offerings of free-range chicken and goose eggs.  For fun, we also have a small flock of pet sheep, a couple of goats, a potbelly pig named Petunia, and a few horses.

We love visitors, even if it's just to come visit our fuzzy coos!

PASTURE-RAISED, NO HORMONES GIVEN, SUSTAINABLE, ETHICAL

We care deeply about our ethics. We want our animals to live happy, healthy lives. We pasture-raise our animals to ensure we treat not only the animals, but our land with respect and an eye to the future. We welcome visitors to the farm, because we believe that if you come see how our animals are raised, you'll be a customer for life.
